yfc:
Hello brothers and sisters from YFC all over the world!
My name is Janry, and I’m the cluster head for CFC-YFC Northern Territory, Australia =)
Recently, we’ve had an entry camp in a place called Katherine located 3 hours south from Darwin, Australia. Praise God, we’ve conquered that area and have now established a new chapter! CFC-YFC Katherine now joins CFC-YFC Darwin and make CFC-YFC NT.
There were 21 participants in total. It has been Darwin’s dream to start a new chapter in NT, and thank God because that dream is now a reality. Our God is so awesome and great!
Here is a photo of the newly established YFC Katherine!
God Bless brothers & sisters.

HSB Casimir..
Where would I be without you?
Before my first HSB conference last year.. I had no idea what I was in for. Legit. I never knew I would be confronted with Worship, Thousands of Quotes, Thousands of Bibles Verses, Thousands of Prayers, and so many people! My transition into HSB and YFC has been such a blessing, and came at such a good time in my life. Praise God! Through out the HSB transition, I continued to come to meetings, and when I joined YFC Kogarah I was blessed to be appointed with the role of Vice President of HSB Casimir with my ex-mission partner, Darren Dela Rosa. I was so fortunate to have such a lovely brother as my mission partner, and have Joanna Ly and Steven Kha by my side as the Casimir HSB Presidents.
Today, I could feel so much warmth in HSB. It reminded me of the reason of why I joined YFC in the first place, “Fun, Faith, Freedom and Friendship” and to grow in faith towards God and reminded me of my first Entry Camp for YFC Kogarah. Before our meeting had commenced, I was moving tables to make room, and at the same time I was trying to think of how this meeting was going to be formatted. Today was actually a really important day as it was the day where we announced our new leaders of HSB Casimir! God’s plan had really come into action a month ago when Jordan from Darwin YFC, randomly came to our meeting after meeting Lizzy, on her first day of school. Jordan had recently moved to Sydney and lucky enough she came to a school that offered HSB. God’s plan or what? LEGGO! When she came in, she’s like, “Oh hi, I’m Jordan, I’m from YFC Darwin.” And, I was actually standing in the front of our meeting, and I looked at her with the most shocked face ever. Then I was screaming and running around like a chicken that had lost its head. PRAISE GOD! Like, how did this happen? The most random-est thing that HSB Casimir has ever experienced. Everyone was going crazy, and we were full excited and stuff! And it was crazy! After the crazy-ness, we found out Jordan had not been to a HSB meeting before, so we explained what HSB was.
The crazy thing was, is that she had been in YFC for over a year.. and Darren and I are like, this is what we need! God has answered our prayers! Darren and I were actually in charge of picking leaders along side Joanna and Steven, and we were having great difficulties trying to pick, judging on experience and how mission ready our members were as not all of them came to meetings regularly and, some were not in YFC just yet.. Thus, our decisions for the new leaders were actually very hard to determine. Jordan is such a blessing to HSB as we had finally been given the opportunity to finally decide who our new leaders for HSB Casimir were going to be. Today, Darren and I officially announced to Jordan that she was chosen to be Casimir HSB President. AND she said “YES!” When I heard this I became so excited for HSB, I knew from that moment, HSB was going to grow like crazy. After that, Joanna announced the Presidents which are now “Jordan and Darren” and then I announced the Vice Presidents which are “Joshua and Lizzy”. I was so excited for these announcements because I knew HSB was going into really good hands.. and I just loved how Jordan and Joshua automatically switched on and thought of something to do to finish that meeting. Jordan decided to share with us a game from Darwin YFC which was heaps fun! I knew from that moment Darren, Joanna, Steven and I had picked such mission ready leaders! PRASIE GOD! Our meeting today was heaps inspirational and it was heaps fun and full of God’s love, you could really feel it in the atmosphere. Our opening prayers and closing prayers, were brilliant and so uplifting! It was so cool dude! Anyways, on other terms, HSB Casimir, thank you, and you guys are so awesome! And again, HSB is so lucky and so blessed to have Darren, Jordan, Joshua and Lizzy as the new HSB leaders and congratulations to Monicarae who is now our Sydney East HPV with Nate. Also thank you so much to Monicarae and Analiz for visiting us, it’s always a pleasure to have you at our meetings!
Another thing I would like to touch on is an important person in my life that is so influential and is so amazing in everything they do. Funny enough, I wouldn’t be here writing this with out my amazing sister, Lorraine Ladia. I’ve seen Lorraine grow so much as a person through out my experiences in YFC. Lorraine was the first person who talked to me about YFC in a Business Studies Class in Year 11. She continued to tell me about all the experiences she had in YFC. During this time, I was in need of a change, a turning point in my life, so that I was able to enjoy life again. She was the one that gave this to me. And I thank her so much for this. Because honestly, I couldn’t imagine a life without YFC and love for God. God has truly blessed me with such an amazing sister as I know she has helped Sydney East to grow SO MUCH, and I know she has changed SO MANY lives, it’s incredible! I’ve seen her be an Assistant Camp Leader, a Camp Leader, a Sharer, a Talker, and now, she is a Unit Head of the new unit in Sydney East, Ashfield. I remember she had always wanted this expansion in Sydney East, and finally, God has given her the opportunity to spread Christ to our youth through a new plan in her life and she is going to do such an awesome job with her Mission Partner Cyron Sobrevinas. She is the perfect sister for this Job, I can feel it and this is her “Individual Calling”. :)
I’m so happy to have been apart of HSB. People do say it is difficult to serve our youth in High Schools, but it is so darn rewarding and it is really a great experience to to have had! :)
Thank you HSB and YFC. And thank you to all the sisters and brothers that I’ve experienced these awesome moments along the way. AND of course. Thank you GOD. :)

“If this made you feel anything, then that’s exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks for watching.”

To be honest, at first I was extremely nervous in having to do a sharing. My heart was beating so fast and I was feeling a bit woozy.
but then..I remembered that I was doing this for God. Having the faith that I was sharing for God enabled me to gain the confidence.
It was an amazing experience and I hope the brothers and sisters took something positive from it :)
